This glockenspiel has nothing to do with Paleo. I just had to put it at the top of this post because when I searched for pictures under the keyword Paleo, it showed up in the results. HA!
I love Paleo because it brings people together. For starters, my husband and I, for the first time in our marriage, actually enjoy cooking together. Every meal contains oodles of meat, so man-meat-cravings are covered. I like that he likes to eat it too.
It also makes body composition better. Since I started eating Paleo, I can build muscle easily. When I start eating too much “Paleo junk” (i.e. baked goods with almond flour, processed meats, etc) I just cut it back and go back to veggies, fruit and meat. It is amazing to have a regular digestive system after, for so long, not having one. It makes me aware of what I’m putting in my body and I love knowing that I my body is utilizing everything that I put into it.
I love how Paleo complements CrossFit. In the near future, in my classes section of my website, I will be posting a presentation directly relating to why Paleo goes so darn good with CrossFit. Any high intensity style of exercise will benefit from the fat/protein/carbohydrate ratios in the Paleo lifestyle. Climactic, eh?
Paleo is delicious. If you haven’t considered getting a membership to emeals.com, you’re crazy. It’s seriously made my life AMAZING. Less time, less planning, better food and better goal meeting!
